ABOUT DAMARIS SOLUTIONS
Damaris Solutions is a full-service marketing agency based in Mesa, AZ, serving clients across solar/energy, home services, automotive, chiropractic, and other verticals. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who's early in their career and hungry to learn the real-world side of social media and advertising — not just the theory.
This is a learning-forward role. You'll get hands-on experience running real campaigns for real clients, with direct mentorship from the founder. If you're the kind of person who's always scrolling, studying what works, and thinking about how brands show up online — we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your focus will be social media management and paid advertising across our client accounts. Day-to-day, that looks like:
-
Draft, schedule, and publish social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok for multiple client accounts
-
Assist in building and managing paid ad campaigns on Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn Campaign Manager — from audience targeting to budget pacing
-
Create scroll-stopping content: graphics in Canva, short-form video (Reels, TikToks), and compelling captions
-
Monitor ad performance and social engagement daily — flag what's working, what's not, and why
-
Help compile weekly and monthly reports on reach, engagement, follower growth, and ad spend/ROI
-
Research trending audio, hashtags, competitor activity, and platform updates to keep our content strategy fresh
-
Engage with audiences — respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions on behalf of clients in an on-brand voice
-
Participate in client strategy calls and brainstorms (you'll have a seat at the table, not just a task list)
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
This role is designed to build your skills, not just use them. Over time, you'll develop real proficiency in:
-
Paid advertising strategy — how to set up, optimize, and scale campaigns that actually drive results
-
Social media strategy — not just posting, but understanding why certain content performs and how to build a brand presence
-
Analytics and reporting — reading dashboards, interpreting data, and translating numbers into recommendations
-
Client communication — how to present work, manage expectations, and build trust with the businesses you're supporting
-
Content creation workflows — from ideation and scripting to production and publishing
-
The inner workings of a growing agency — how clients are managed, how projects flow, and how a marketing business actually runs
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
REQUIRED
-
At least 1 year of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital advertising — professional, freelance, or managing your own brand/accounts all count
-
OR currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (students welcome — class projects and personal brand work count as experience)
-
A genuine interest in social media and advertising — you follow trends, you notice what brands are doing well, you have opinions about it
-
Solid writing skills — you can write a caption that sounds like a human, not a robot
-
Willingness to learn, ask questions, take feedback, and grow into more responsibility over time
-
Reliable, communicative, and organized — you can manage a content calendar and hit deadlines without being micromanaged
NICE TO HAVE
-
Experience running paid campaigns on Meta Ads Manager or any ad platform
-
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design/video tools
-
Exposure to analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics)
-
Experience with scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar)
-
Agency experience or managing multiple accounts simultaneously
-
Familiarity with CRM/funnel platforms (GoHighLevel is a plus)
-
Phoenix-area location for occasional in-person collaboration
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
This role pays $20–$25/hour depending on experience, part-time (approximately 10 hours/week). We've intentionally designed it as a starting point, not a ceiling.
As you grow your skills and take on more responsibility, both your hours and compensation will grow with you. We're looking for someone who wants to develop here — not just clock hours. Strong performers will have the opportunity to expand into a larger role with increased pay, more client ownership, and deeper involvement in the business.
This role does not currently include benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), as it begins as a part-time position. However, as the role grows into a full-time capacity, benefits eligibility will grow with it — building toward a comprehensive package is a priority as the company scales.
Think of this as the on-ramp. Where it leads depends on you.
WHAT WE OFFER
-
Direct mentorship from the founder — not a training video playlist, actual guidance
-
Flexible, remote-first schedule that works around your classes or other commitments
-
Real portfolio work — you'll leave (or stay) with tangible campaigns, analytics, and results you can show future employers or clients
-
A voice in how things are done — we're building this company, and your ideas matter
-
Letter of recommendation upon successful engagement
-
A path to a bigger role as the agency grows — we want to hire from within
WHY THIS ROLE
Most entry-level marketing jobs have you doing busywork on the sidelines. This one puts you in the middle of live campaigns with real clients from day one — with the support to actually learn, not just sink or swim.
If you want real experience, real mentorship, and a real shot at growing into something bigger — this is it.
HOW TO APPLY
You can apply by filling out the form below and uploading your resume OR send us your resume and a short note about why this role interests you and what you're hoping to learn.
If you have a portfolio, social accounts you manage, or any work samples — include those too. We care way more about what you can show us than what's on your transcript.
